J&M Overhead Door Inc. Was started by Joshua & Monica Harden in the fall of 2025. Monica has spent most of her career in the medical field and Josh has spent most of his career in the construction industry. After returning from Omaha back to Eastern Iowa Josh & Monica saw not only the opportunity but also the needs for an old school small family sized garage door repair business. That would focus on the customer repair vs replace and never sell the customer something they do not need.

Josh & Monica decided to call rural Kalona Iowa home and have embodied what that means and looks like. Our yes will be our yes and our no will be our no.
